JLove’s Top 10 (+1): Fun Facts about 11 Friends of NibMor
NibMor embraces diversity in every shape and form including the partnerships and friendships we make. You’ll notice that this list is a broad cross section of a variety of different market segments and products. Diversity is fun! You can prove that to yourself by reading a little about some friends of NibMor, below.
We wanted to set the tone for this blog by answering the following two questions from NibMor’s perspective:
Question #1: What is something, not generally known about your company?
NibMor’s Answer: We take regular dance breaks at random times when we all need to release some stress. We crank up some tunes and our team rocks out in the office together.
Questions #2: What is unique/special about your product?
NibMor’s Answer: We travel the globe to meet with the suppliers/farmers of our cocoa and natural sweeteners to ensure the quality and integrity of the raw materials and the ethical treatment of the farmers.

COMPANY FUN FACT: We are a company of 6 people who are passionate about what we do. At 4:14pm every day, we do as many pushups as we can, no matter where we are! We are into fitness as much as we are into whole foods. Here are some interesting facts about some of the people in our company: our attorny is a bee keeper, the family of our head of operations makes maple syrup, and our marketing & media chef believes in global connections; that you get back what you put out into the world.
PRODUCT FUN FACT: Our Freekeh isn't just a roasted grain with a funny name. It has 8g of protein, is grown organically and is minimally processed. We have such a unique relationship with our farmers, and we maintain a close connection to every part of the eco-system that creates this amazing grain. We are manufacturing this out of love!

COMPANY FUN FACT: Late July is an independent, family owned and operated company. Both of my sons came into the office full time until they started pre-school. My oldest son even carries his own business cards with his title “Boy on the Box” proudly displayed and his birthday is hidden on the sail of the boat on the front of our boxes.
PRODUCT FUN FACT: Making food for other people’s families is an enormous responsibility that I think about with every decision I make. Knowing what I know about toxic pesticides, antibiotic resistance and GMOs, producing certified organic products is not only the right thing to do, it’s the only thing I will do.

COMPANY FUN FACT: Prior to the name Simple Squares, our whole food snack bars were called 'Sabbaticals' - founder and Chief Square, Kimberly Crupi Dobbins, conceived of the idea for healthy snacks while on her 42 day trip around the world (a.k.a sabbatical) from work and struggled to find good-for-you bites on the road.
